Call for Companies: Pilot Participation in Gentech and Bioanalysis Modules

News February 19, 2026

Would your organisation like to train employees and introduce them to the latest developments in Gentech and Bioanalysis? The PharmaNL project Groningen Human Capital for Life Sciences invites companies to participate in the pilot phase of newly developed training modules. This project, part of PharmaNL’s Human Capital Growth programme line, focuses on developing innovative training that directly addresses the knowledge and skills needs of professionals in the pharmaceutical sector.

According to Sven Stielstra, project lead and affiliated with LIFE Cooperative: “Although this project was initiated through LIFE Cooperative, participation is certainly also relevant for companies outside our region. Unique expertise is being developed in the Northern Netherlands, which we are now making available together for the entire pharma sector. By learning and sharing knowledge collectively, we strengthen the proposition and competitive position of the Dutch pharma and life sciences sector.”

Why participate?

The pilots offer companies the opportunity to familiarise their employees with topics such as iPS cells, Organ-on-a-Chip, LC-MS small molecules, and Ligand Binding Assays. The modules combine e-learning, self-study, and on-site hands-on sessions, ensuring they fit well within professionals’ busy schedules.

Participants support the project team by sharing their experiences and feedback, helping to ensure the modules align closely with industry practice. Participation also provides an excellent opportunity to expand your network and exchange knowledge with other organisations in the sector. Sven Stielstra adds: “The pilot phase is a unique opportunity for participants to get a preview of the modules while providing valuable feedback. This allows us to fine-tune the final product to meet companies’ practical needs.”

Which companies can participate?

Stielstra: “We invite companies and organisations from across the Netherlands to join, from Leiden, Oss, and Utrecht to Eindhoven and beyond. All companies interested in deepening and broadening their expertise in these areas are welcome, regardless of size or location.”
