Advance Notice: New Human Capital Growth Funding Round 2026

Good news: a new funding call is on the horizon. ZonMw is expected to open a funding call under the PharmaNL Human Capital Growth (HCG) programme line on 23 June 2026. This programme line aims to support the development of a coherent, strengthened, and hybrid lifelong learning ecosystem for the pharmaceutical sector at post-secondary vocational (MBO), higher professional (HBO), and postgraduate/academic levels.

Projects should address the priority themes identified in PharmaNL’s updated 2026 Investment Agenda (Part II: Human Capital Growth) and build upon existing educational offerings.

Online Information Meeting

On Tuesday, 30 June at 16:00 CET, ZonMw will host an online information meeting. The session will provide further information about the funding call and application process. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Register here for the online information meeting on 30 June. A recording will be available upon request after the event.

Funding Process and Preliminary Timeline*

This funding round consists of two phases: a project idea phase and a full application phase. During the project idea phase, the programme committee will assess project ideas for relevance and overall quality. The most promising projects that best align with the objectives of the funding call will be invited to develop their ideas into full funding applications.

To support collaboration and consortium building around the new funding round, PharmaNL will organise Human Capital Growth Connection Days on 1 July, 7 July, and 9 July 2026.
